Angela Kaimaklioti

Angela Kaimaklioti was born in 1967 in Famagusta. She holds a degree in pedagogy and a master‘s degree in educational leadership and politics. She also has postgraduate studies in crisis management and mediation. She is a director of primary schools, president of the Larnaca Cultural Association and a member of the board of the Foundation for Culture for Children and Young People. She was vice-president of the Cyprus Writers’ Union. She has published five books of poetry and a book of short stories. Her poems have been included in poetry anthologies and literary magazines. Her poetry book "At close quarters" has been translated into Serbian and English.
