Polydoros Papaiacovou
Polydoros Papaiacovou was born on the 17th March 1972 in Famagusta, Cyprus.
He graduated from “Lanition Lyceum B’ Limassol” in 1990, and in 1991 he went to Athens for studies at the Athenian branch of the University of Wolverhampton, Department of Business and Finance. He continued his studies in the UK, at the University of Wolverhampton where he graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
He has been a member of the “National Greek Literature society of Cyprus” since 2006, member of the “Cyprus Centre of Writers - PEN” since 2010, and a Board member of “The Greek Cultural Association of Cyprus” since 2016.
He is married to Pamela Anastasiou Papaiacovou, and they have a daughter, Eleni.
Writing career
He published his first poetry collection entitled «Περσεφόνης Αγάλματα» - “Persephone Statues” in April 2005 as a private edition of 500 copies. Editor: Christos Melidis).
In May 2010, he published his second poetry collection entitled, «Ειμαρμένης Δοξολογία». “Nostos” publications - 1000 copies. Editor: Vassos Stylianou and Christos Melidis. Design and artistic curation: Valentinos Iosif.
In December 2019, he published his third poetry collection entitled, «Βουστροφηδόν» - “Voustrofidon”. "Nostos" publications - 1000 copies. Editor Vassos Stylianou and Konstantinos Melidis. Design and artistic curation: Valentinos Iosif.
